Who we are

Skyllamas Podcast Studio is the podcast studio of Skyllamas Productions LLC (“Skyllamas”, “we”, “us”), 225 US-46, Suite 2B, Totowa, NJ 07512. This policy explains what happens to the information you share through skyllamaspodcast.com. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Price list request: your name and email address.
  • Studio tour booking: your name, email and phone number, and if you add them, your show or company, what brings you in and your message.
  • Instant estimate: your answers. When you send it to us or book the free call about it, also your name and email, and if you add them, your phone number, company and a note. We save a sent estimate so we can reply to you.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Spam protection: when you send a form, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms you’re not a robot, and our server briefly uses your IP address to limit abuse.
  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers record IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.

How we use it

  • To answer your message or estimate, run the tour or call you booked, and plan your recording.
  • To show you our price list after you request it.
  • To send studio news, only if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam and fraud.
  • To comply with the law and protect our rights.

Booking a session

Bookings, session packs, client accounts (my.skyllamaspodcast.com) and payments run on our own booking system at skyllamaspro.com, operated by Skyllamas Productions LLC. When you book, we keep the details you enter: your name, email and phone number, your show, who’s coming (including the names and emails of guests you add) and your notes. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. If you pay in monthly payments (a session pack or the YouTube Growth program), Stripe keeps your card so the later payments can be charged automatically, as you authorize at checkout. If remote guests join, we create a Zoom meeting and email each of them their link. If you add other people to a free consultation call, we keep their names and emails with your booking and use them only to send each of them the Google Meet invite, reminders and any change to the call. We use your booking details to confirm, prepare and run your session, deliver your files and keep business and tax records. We also keep the recordings of your session (the video and audio of everyone on set) to make and deliver your files.

If your package includes a content review, your editor makes a transcript of the final episode and uses it to write your review (scores, notes and a focus for your next episode). Our AI provider, Anthropic, may process that transcript to help your editor prepare a first draft; your editor checks and finishes every review. You see your reviews in your client account, and so does the person who buys sessions for your show.

Each guest you add with an email gets a link to sign our guest release online. With the release we keep the typed signature (for a guest under 18, the parent’s or guardian’s name and how they’re related), the guest’s choices about clips of them in our promotion and about our newsletter, when they signed, and the IP address and browser they signed from, as proof of signing.

When you join the YouTube Growth program, we keep your name, email and phone number, your show’s name and its YouTube channel link, when you agreed to the program terms and, for monthly payments, your authorization for the automatic payments.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the studio, and only for that purpose:

  • Cloudflare: hosts this website and runs the “not a robot” check.
  • Netlify: runs the server at skyllamaspro.com that receives our website forms and runs bookings.
  • Resend: delivers form messages to our team inbox and sends our booking emails.
  • Google: our email (Google Workspace), calendar invites and Google Meet links for calls, and the fonts this website uses.
  • Stripe: card payments.
  • Supabase: stores our booking and client account records.
  • Anthropic: its AI (Claude) helps our editors draft content reviews from episode transcripts and answers questions in the chat on this website. Under its commercial terms it doesn’t use this information to train its models.
  • Zoom: video links for remote guests.

Links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Spotify and other sites take you to those sites, where their own policies apply. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

Cookies & device storage

This website doesn’t set advertising or analytics cookies. The “not a robot” check may use short-lived technical data in your browser to work. Signing in to your client account keeps a sign-in cookie in your browser; it isn’t used for advertising or analytics.

How long we keep it

  • Messages, estimates and price list requests that don’t become a booking: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Booking, invoice and payment records: at least 7 years, for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
  • Session recordings: the raw camera files and isolated audio for 60 days after final delivery, and your final episode master for 1 year, or longer if you buy a File archive.
  • Content reviews: episode transcripts for 6 months and AI first drafts for 90 days; the finished reviews while your client account exists.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.

Your privacy rights

The New Jersey Data Privacy Act and similar laws give residents rights over their personal data. Wherever you live, we honor these requests:

  • Access: confirm whether we process your data and get a copy of it.
  • Correction: fix information that’s wrong.
  • Deletion: delete your information, except records we must keep by law.
  • Portability: receive your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out: of any sale of personal data, targeted advertising or profiling (we do none of these).
  • Marketing: stop our emails at any time.

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We’ll verify your identity and respond within 45 days. You can authorize an agent to make a request for you. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; if you’re not satisfied with the result of your appeal, you can contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and limited staff access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information happens, we will notify you as New Jersey law requires.

Children

This website is meant for adults and businesses. A guest under 18 can appear on a show only when a parent or legal guardian signs our guest release for them; we keep that release with the session. Apart from that, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
