Before you book
Booking and your visit
Can I tour the studio before booking a session?
Yes. Tours are free and in person. Book a studio tour.
How many people can I bring to a recording?
Up to 4 people on set, and up to 3 more can watch the recording live from our green room.
Can I bring an online guest?
Yes. Remote guests join by video, and we email the link when you book.
Is there parking at the studio?
Yes, plenty of free parking right outside, off Route 46.
How do I find the door?
We're at 225 US-46, Suite 2B, in Totowa. The door is between TJ Maxx and Blinds To Go: look for the green overhang and the "225 Offices" sign.
When should I arrive?
Up to 15 minutes before your booked time, not earlier. Booked the Hollywood Room or studio time with your guests before recording? Come up to 15 minutes before that time starts; your confirmation shows when.

Do I need podcasting experience?
No. We guide you through every step of the way.
Is there paperwork to sign before recording?
Yes. We need recording permission from everyone who takes part.
Which set can I record on?
Studio A is one modular room. Pick its set when you book: the table or the solo desk (both included; the solo desk is for one person), or the comfy couch set with two leather armchairs, for up to 2 people ($55). See the sets.
How long is a recording session?
Up to 1 hour, with every package. All booked time is “up to”: the 1-hour session and any time you add (extra recording time, studio time with guests, the Hollywood Room). If you use less, say 20, 30 or 45 minutes, the price stays the same: unused minutes aren’t refunded and don’t carry over to another session. Need longer? Add extra time when you book. On the day, if the studio is free and our team approves it, you can add time in 30-minute steps, paid through a payment link we send you; a step that’s started is charged in full, and unused minutes aren’t refunded.
Can I get a written transcript?
Yes, with any package: $110 for up to 1 hour of recording, then half that for each extra 30 minutes. It’s included with Platinum. Add it when you book.
How quickly will I receive my files?
Basic: the live-switched video and raw audio within 24 hours (Basic Audio: the raw audio). Edited episodes: within a week; the Story edit within 10 business days.
Which package should I choose?
It depends on how much of the editing and publishing you want us to take on. Compare the packages, or talk it through with us on a free studio tour.
